Surgical Hospital in Hama Countryside, Syria

Because of the ongoing war in the Hama countryside, there was a need to treat the emergency cases and injuries suffered by the local people, which led Orient for Human Relief to establish a surgical hospital on August 2013 in the Northern Hama countryside equipped with one operation room, surgical equipment, /16/ medical beds, pediatrics clinic, gynecology clinic, and ENT clinic.

The following clinics were operated at the Hospital

Internal Medicine Clinic

Gynecology Clinic

Pediatrics Clinic

ENT Clinic

Emergency Clinic

Surgery Clinic

The difficulty of reaching surgical hospital in rural Hama due to the intentional heavy bombing committed by the Syrian regime, drove Orient for Human Relief to close the hospital by the end of 09/2013. However, the hospital continued to offer transportation services for the injured from Hama countryside to the northern bordering hospitals via the “Orient Medical Emergency System“.
