Surgical Hospital in Kessab, Lattakia, Syria

Because of the ongoing war in the Lattakia countryside, there was a need to treat the emergency cases and injuries suffered by the local people, which led Orient for Human Relief to establish a surgical hospital on April 2014 in Kessab town equipped with two operation rooms, surgical equipment, /30/ medical beds, and dental chairs.

The following clinics were operated at the Hospital

Internal Medicine Clinic

Dentistry Clinic

Surgery Clinic

Emergency Clinic

The difficulty of reaching Kessab surgical hospitals due to the intentional heavy bombing committed by the Syrian regime, drove Orient for Human Relief to close the hospital by the end of 05/2015. However, the hospital continued to offer transportation services for the injured from Lattakia countryside to the northern bordering hospitals via the “Orient Medical Emergency System“.
