Orient Ambulance System in Reyhanli, Hatay,Turkey

Reyhanli Ambulance System includes a medical team that provide a line of communication between the hospitals inside and outside Syria and ensures the entry and exit of doctors to the Syrian territories. Furthermore, it provides some services to the wounded and displaced upon their arrival to Turkish territory, such as insuring their entry to Turkey across all border crossings and documenting their entrance.

On the other hand, wounded Syrian civilians are being serviced at Government Hospital in Reyhanli. Immediate interventions take place when they require additional assistance, and when necessary, they get transferred to private Turkish hospitals for surgery at the expense of Orient for Human Relief, or to Orient Surgical Hospital in Atmeh, which is fully equipped with adequate doctors and operation rooms.

The following clinics were operated at the Center

The Turkish Health Directorate took the task of transporting the injured through Bab al-Hawa Border Crossing. Thus, in 12/2015 Orient for Human Relief stopped the Reyhanli Ambulance System and started offering its medical services exclusively through its medical centers.
